A small Leicester firm that prices the job before it starts
Redvers Electrical is four electricians and an apprentice, working out of a unit in Braunstone since 2014. We started out rewiring houses for two letting agents, and most of our work still comes from people we have done a job for.
We are not the cheapest firm in the city. We publish our prices, stick to them, and hand you a certificate that will satisfy a buyer's surveyor in twenty years' time.
Four rules every job follows
They are written on the inside of both van doors.
Prove it dead, every time
We test before we touch, even when the breaker is off and the label says so. Labels are wrong more often than you would think.
Test what we did not touch
Before a new board goes live, every circuit into it is tested. If something old is unsafe, you hear about it with the reading.
Leave it cleaner
Dust sheets before tools, a hoover round every evening, and old fittings taken away in the van.
Say when it is not needed
If your board is fine or a C3 can wait, we tell you, even when it costs us the job.
