Quotes and prices
Website prices and estimator figures include VAT and standard materials and assume clear access. A written quote is valid for 30 days. The price only changes if you change the work, or if we find a hidden fault that nobody could reasonably have seen. If that happens, we stop, show you and agree the extra cost before carrying on.
Payment
No deposit for jobs under £1,000. Rewires and solar installations: 20% on booking, 40% at first fix, the balance on completion. Invoices are due within 7 days.
Cancelling
You can cancel within 14 days of accepting a quote at no cost, unless you asked us to start sooner, in which case you pay for work already done. After that, please give us 48 hours' notice before a booked day.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 5 years from completion. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. The guarantee does not cover damage, misuse, or alterations made by others.
Certificates
We issue the appropriate certificate for all work and notify building control where required. Certificates are released once the invoice is paid.
